Greater Williamsburg Sends 145 Home for the Holidays
The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Committee successfully sent 145 active-duty service members home for the holidays through its annual Home for the Holidays fundraising campaign.
Service members stationed at the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, and the Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown participated in the program. Many of these locally stationed service members come from across the country and require financial assistance to travel home and reunite with their families during the holiday season.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Greater Williamsburg community, 145 service members were able to spend the holidays at home with their loved ones.
The Military Affairs Committee and the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who donated to Home for the Holidays in 2025 and to those who helped raise awareness for this important cause. Your kindness and generosity truly made the season brighter for so many.
The GWCC, on behalf of our Military Affairs Committee and our fund raising partners would like to thank all of those who donated to our Home for the Holidays 2025 campaign.
