The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Announces “Twinkle Through Time” as the Theme for the 2026 Christmas Parade

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the theme for our highly anticipated annual Christmas Parade: “Twinkle Through Time.” This beloved tradition has been bringing our community together since 1953, and this year we’re asking everyone to join us on December 6th at 5:00 PM to welcome in the holiday season, on the same parade route as last year. Applications for parade units will officially be submitted starting on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at 9:00 AM EDT

Prepare to be dazzled as we take a sparkling trip through the ages! This year’s theme, 'Twinkle Through Time,' invites you to recreate your favorite historical moments with a holiday glow. Whether it’s a Victorian winter wonderland, a roaring 20s holiday gala, or a moon-landing celebration, we want to see your float shine!

“The Christmas Parade is a cherished tradition that brings our community together while driving support to our local businesses,” said Lauren Moore, Vice President of Communications & Programming at the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce. “This year’s theme, ‘Twinkle Through Time,’ is a sparkling celebration of our story and we look forward to seeing our community’s beautiful  ideas come to life on the parade route.”

Last year’s parade drew over 20,000 people to the streets to celebrate the season and make new, cherished memories. This year, we’re expecting another incredible turnout as we wind back the clock and Twinkle Through Time.

Christmas Parade Participation Guidelines
